I’ve used Mia’s name for Big Bomma as long as I can remember. On one of the many visits to her, she made me some toast and jam which seemed so innocent. It was a trick and I was hooked, who knew Damson jam was so good. I spent quite a bit of time attempting to locate it on my own, but nothing! I couldn’t find it in any shop and I had to got back to the source. She knew the right people and for years I was sorted. Whenever I saw her there was a little pot of damson jam and Big Bomma with a smile was now my dealer.
